FINAL TABLE OF CONTENTS

Updated: Apr 12, 2023

This post contains my final table of contents design. Applying what I've learned this year, this is the result.

This table of contents is very much my style. I feel like it is very organized and put together, displaying my own photo in a simplistic and organized way. I chose the white background color for the contents for a clean look.

To create my table of content I used Canva and Adobe Illustrator. Canva is very easy to use and gives you tons of ideas and ready to use templates which help you organize all the elements you want to feature in an easy and beautiful way. It has helped me a lot throughout this project. I used one of Canva's templates to create my table of contents drafts. This was very much my style and what I had in mind since the beginning, and added one of the pictures of my photoshoot that was taken in Hollywood Beach. Then, I added the titles of the articles in the magazine and the corresponding pages. I tweaked my drafts to be able to showcase the picture more fully and keep the table of contents all the way justified to the right. I moved a little the elements to give enough "spotlight" to the text which I wanted to be clear, concise and legible. The picture was an element that beautifully complemented the whole page. I also added the information of the cover picture at the bottom right of the TOC picture, and a little magenta rectangle next to the words "Table Of" for a pop of color.

I am very pleased with the overall result of my table of content. It supports my initial vision for the magazine transmitting fun, vibrant colors and clean simple design and photography that invites you to visit, learn more and travel.
